Wrinkle softening
Using products such as Botox® and Dysport which contain Botulinum toxin we can smooth the areas affected by wrinkles giving a more youthful and vibrant look to skin whilst still maintaining that natural look. We use products and techniques that have been tried and tested for many years to produce, safe, effective and natural results. The procedure itself can even be carried out during your lunch hour and patients are able to go about their day normally after treatment. Results usually take about 1-2 weeks to take full effect and typically last for 3-4 months.
Forehead wrinkles
Often called frown lines, these lines usually present in two forms, small vertical lines often between the eyebrows, or longer horizontal lines below the hair line often covering much of the forehead. Just softening these lines is a great way to make your whole face look younger, fresher and rejuvenated, they respond great to treatment using Botulinum toxin, e.g. Botox, Dysport, and can usually be done in a short appointment over lunch!

What is Botulinum toxin or botox and how does it work?
Botox is one of the many trade names for the protein called botulinum toxin that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, it has been used for over 25 years and is injected in very small doses into the facial muscles to help smooth out wrinkles. It works by blocking the nerve activity of the affected muscles, making them less active and thereby smoothing out wrinkles and lines.
Does it hurt?
Its extremely rare for Botox® treatments to be painful, normally no anesthetic is needed and patients are able to carry on with their day as normal after treatment. The procedure will be fully explained during your consultation so you will know exactly what to expect.
How long does it last?
Treatment with botulinum toxin tends to last around 3-4 months whilst dermal fillers usually last around 6-9 months.
How does non-surgical eye brow raising work?
With careful treatment of the different groups of muscles which control the position of the eyebrows, it is possible to lift the overall position of the brow and even to raise the corners to produce a really youthful attractive look.
